Delicious food and friendly service. One of those typical places without fancy dressing, but the love and taste is in the food. Lots of locals and not that many tourists. Always a good indication ;)

Great typical restaurant at a driving distance to Livorno. The staff was very helpful and the food delicious. Must try the carbonara di mare, extremely tasty. The house wine is also good (as in pretty much any Italian restaurant).

This place has fantastic food. We were recommended this by my Italian aunt who lives in Ardenza. So good, we ate here twice! My wife absolutely adores the Baccala Isola and had it both times. I mixed fried vegetables the first time and tagliatelle with cinghiale this time as I knew I would miss wild boar after leaving Italy. I do not know how anyone rates this place less than 5 stars? I am half Italian and spent my youngest years here, 20 to 30 minutes away even. I've eaten food all over Italy, Europe and America. And even in some other places less frequently. You would be hard pressed to improve the food here. You could only have different recipes but not superior taste.
